Thanks for the supportive words and for those that were curious I’ll try my best to explain the reasons for putting my etsy on a “vacation” Very very few people on here would actually know that I have mental health issues, in short, anxiety. I don’t like waking up in the morning only to be greeted by snotty messages, unanswerable questions and strange requests online. I know it’s inevitable to run into these sort of situations, but I left retail work because of those situations. I didn’t think people could depreciate the handmade approach to mine and others small businesses. I’ve had an especially bad month in regards to sales and demands. It’s a whole lot of unnecessary stress. With time I will have the shop up and running. I need a break and would like to focus on selling locally for now which has a lot more success. I’ve been making good profit in a short period of time in the city, which is great for being unemployed..so that’s what I will be channeling my energy into.
